Fall Celebration 2016
Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Friends of Black Bayou, in cooperation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, celebrates the climax of National Wildlife Refuge Week in October each year, with the annual Fall Celebration at the Refuge. 

   Join the celebration with free fish fry (also jambalaya and corndogs), Black Bayou Lake Mud Pie, turning of the blue goose migration marker, educational activities for children, including activities such as, birdhouse building, free canoeing, face painting, mud painting, native animal exhibits, button making, and lots more.

Photos will be on display from the 2016 Photo Contest. We look forward to seeing what the cameras have captured throughout the past year.
